Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-16

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies may be used when you visit prixelo.com, why they are needed, and how you can control them. The short version: we do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary ones that keep the site secure and working, plus small preferences stored in your own browser.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website, or a service it relies on, places in your browser. They let the site recognise your browser between requests, for example to remember that a security check has already been passed.

Similar technologies include the browser's localStorage and sessionStorage, which let a site keep small pieces of information on your device. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these unless we say otherwise.

Cookies can be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by another service the site uses). They can also be session cookies, which disappear when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay until they expire or you delete them.

What we do not use

Prixelo does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, cross-site tracking, or analytics cookies that build a profile of your visits. We do not sell or share cookie data for marketing purposes.

If we ever decide to add any cookie that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before that cookie is set. See "Changes to this policy" below.

Strictly necessary cookies we may use

Our website is delivered through Cloudflare, which helps protect it from automated abuse and attacks. To do that, Cloudflare may set the following cookies. They do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising or analytics.

  • __cf_bm (Cloudflare, bot management): helps Cloudflare tell the difference between real visitors and automated bots. It typically expires after about 30 minutes.
  • cf_clearance (Cloudflare, security challenge): set only after your browser passes a Cloudflare security challenge, so you are not asked to repeat it on every page. It expires after a limited period set by the site's security configuration.

Security checks on our forms

Our contact and enquiry forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that helps stop spam and automated submissions without asking you to solve puzzles in most cases.

Turnstile runs from challenges.cloudflare.com. To do its job it may use cookies or local storage on that domain, and it looks at technical signals from your browser to decide whether a request comes from a person. This information is used for security only, not to track you across websites.

If you block cookies or scripts from challenges.cloudflare.com, the security check may fail and you may not be able to send a form. In that case you can email us directly at support@prixelo.com.

Preferences stored in your browser

The site may save a few small preferences in your browser's localStorage, for example the language you chose. This lets the site remember your choice the next time you visit.

These values stay on your device. They are not sent to us as tracking data, they do not identify you, and they are not shared with anyone. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser's site data for prixelo.com.

Why there is no cookie consent banner

Under the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR, websites must ask for consent before setting cookies, except for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for or to keep that service secure.

Because prixelo.com only uses strictly necessary security cookies and simple preferences you set yourself, consent is not required, so we do not show a cookie banner. We would rather tell you clearly what is used than ask you to click through a banner for cookies that do not track you.

How to control or delete cookies

You are always in control of cookies on your device. Most browsers let you see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block them for all sites or for specific ones. These settings are usually found under Privacy, Security or Site data in your browser's settings menu.

Your browser's help pages explain the exact steps. Common places to look include:

  • Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or Site settings.
  • Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari: Settings or Preferences, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
  • Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.

What happens if you block cookies

You can still read most of prixelo.com with cookies blocked. However, because the cookies we use are tied to security, blocking them may cause some things to stop working as expected.

In particular, you may see repeated security challenges, and our forms may not submit because the Turnstile check cannot complete. Your saved preferences, such as language, will also not be remembered between visits. If anything stops working, you can always reach us by email instead.

Third-party services

Cloudflare acts as our infrastructure and security provider. Its handling of the data involved in these cookies is described in Cloudflare's own cookie and privacy policies, which are available on its website.

If a page on our site links to another website, that website has its own cookie practices, which this policy does not cover.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the way our site works changes, or if a provider changes the cookies it sets. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.

If we ever plan to use cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before those cookies are set.
